MATERNITY SESSION FAQS
- When should I book?
I highly recommend to reach out as soon as you are 12 weeks pregnant to ensure that we can fit you on the schedule, I only take a certain amount of maternity clients per month. This also helps to be able to customize your session, it takes time to plan your perfect session.
- When should I take Maternity portraits?
The ideal time for maternity pictures is when you are in week 27-33 weeks pregnant. If you are pregnant with twins we like to photograph at 25-31 weeks pregnant. You want your bump to be fully showing but you do not want to be so close to your due date, this avoids client feeling tired and uncomfortable, or risk delivering your baby before your session or during your session.
- What if I am plus size? Do you have gowns to fit me?
Please don’t worry mama! We have gowns to fit all shapes and sizes, I will help you pose to get that perfect pictures!
- Is Hair and Makeup included?
Yes! Hair and makeup artistry is done at the studio. This is a treat for all of my clients so you can look and feel your absolute best!
- Can my significant other and children be included?
Absolutely! I actually encourage for you to bring your significant other, children, and fur babies! There is no additional cost to include them. There is a styling and prep guide that is sent to you before your session.
- What should I wear for my maternity photoshoot? Do I need to bring my own dresses?
No ma’am! All of our clients have access to our client closet with couture gowns and accessories.
- What if I’m not sure what I want for my maternity session?
Do not worry, I will plan everything for you! I will send over a detailed questionnaire and I will ask questions to get to know you on our phone consolation.
