Congratulations on your pregnancy! What a great thing to celebrate, your body is doing something so incredible! It can be so easy to focus on the baby and forget about that special journey that you experience during your pregnancy that you do not want to forget.
Maternity photoshoot is so important, it creates memories of this special moment that passes by so fast. Ladies, celebrate on how incredible a woman’s body is!

WHEN TO BOOK YOUR MATERNITY SESSION?
I highly recommend to book at 12 weeks pregnant, we plan photoshoot at week 28-33 weeks pregnancy. If you are pregnant with twins we plan photoshoot at week 25-30 weeks of your pregnancy.
If you want to book a session with Luersen Signature Photography, the earlier you book your session the better!
HOW TO PREP FOR YOUR SESSION
-It is important to be well rested and hydrated before your session. Start focusing your hydration two days before your session.
-I do recommend getting a manicure and pedicure before your session. Not only is it to pamper yourself, but will photograph beautifully. (Choose neutral colors or a French manicure so that it doesn’t draw the eye to much on the main attraction which is you and your baby bump.)
-Shave one to two days before your session.
-If you are going to spray tan, please do it at least 3 days before your session.
-Moisturize the morning of your session.
-The day of your session please avoid wearing any tight fitting clothing or accessories. Stick to loose fitting clothing that can easily change in and out of.
WHAT TO BRING
-Nude bra and under garments
-Sports bra for jeans and bra look (only if you are wanting this style)
WHAT TO EXPECT
When you arrive at the studio you will be greeted by me and the HMUA. We will start pampering you right away! Hair and makeup typically takes an hour to an hour and thirty minutes. We will then start with your first outfit. Worried about not knowing how to pose? Don’t worry about that! I will pose you the entire time and fix your hair in your face. The session typically takes 45 minutes to an hour if its indoor location only. If outdoor location is being done, we will do indoor photos then outdoors (this will take two hours total photoshoot time if we do indoor and outdoor location). Snacks and beverages are provided at the studio, we will have music in the background to get this photoshoot started!
