About Erica Hope, The Midwife
After she had two home births of her own, Erica Hope decided she wanted to become a midwife birth professional and support women as they grew their families. In 2010, she became a certified doula. That same year, she started working alongside a midwife before deciding she wanted to pursue it as a career. She’s now certified and works to provide compassionate care to her clients. Erica believes that every person deserves to be treated with respect throughout pregnancy. She’ll make sure you have the personalized care you need for every stage.
Services
You can start working with Midwife Erica Hope at the beginning of your pregnancy. She’ll schedule regular prenatal appointments so she can monitor the health of both you and your baby. She will check on your baby’s growth and talk to you about your birth plan. For ultrasounds, she will refer you to a practice so you can get a unique look at your baby. Her goal is to ensure you have the information you need to feel empowered throughout your entire delivery. Erica specializes in home births and will help you prepare your space for delivery.
Once your birth starts, she’ll remain by your side. She has plenty of experience with VBACs and water births. If you don’t have a tub but would still like a water birth, you can speak to her about pool rentals so you have the tools you need for your delivery. Erica is trained in neonatal resuscitation and CPR. Your family’s safety will be her top priority.
