Shop for Your Perfect Outfit at Longhorn Fashions in Austin!

When they say everything is bigger in Texas, they’re, of course, including our sense of fashion! The fact of the matter is that we know how to create an outfit from the heels of our boots to the brim of our hats. While Austin has so many stylish boutiques with options tailored to your specific tastes, one of my favorites is Longhorn Fashions. This wonderful shop has everything you need to create an outfit you’ll want to wear again and again.

About Longhorn Fashions

709 w 22nd St, Suite 116, Austin, Texas 78705

Longhorn Fashions is a shop that was started by UT alumni Tessie Watson in August 2010. In true Longhorn style, Tessie was always searching for the perfect piece of burnt orange clothing but could never seem to find it. Naturally, she decided to create the store she herself wanted to frequent. For a year, Tessie sold her styles out of a vintage Airstream before she decided to open a brick-and-mortar shop. While the store remains the best place to find University of Texas gear before a big game, I just know you’re going to love the Longhorn styles for every other occasion.

Services

When you walk through the doors of Longhorn Fashions, you’ll find burnt orange in every corner. The styles work for pretty much every occasion. The orange maxi dresses and pleated skirts can go from a church service to a tailgate with no effort whatsoever. Get ready for the office with a cozy rust-shade sweater, or host a watch party at home with some vintage-inspired velvet pants. If orange isn’t your color, you can still buy modern fashions that will suit you beautifully. The shop sells styles for every age. You can find kids’ dresses, onesies, and pajamas that stay on theme. There’s also a licensed University of Texas section that sells scarves and headbands.

The shop has one of the best jewelry selections around. There are acrylic earrings, Longhorn bangles, football helmet charms, and sorority necklaces, so you can wear your spirit however you’d like.

Specialty

Longhorn Fashions lets you take your outfit to the next level with their custom hat bar. This section is so fantastic. Tons of women choose to rent it out and host their very own hat party. They offer options so you can have the perfect one. You can start out with a straw or a blank hat. From there, you can add a ribbon and suede. There are pre-made hat bands, feathers, flowers, bandanas, and branding. You can also add charms to elevate your creation.
